The name Tranzotica began as an idea Bobby Lane had while working on an original song in the Trance sub-genre of electronic dance music (EDM). He was thinking about how dancing to this music would put the dancers in a kind of hypnotic trance, so he morphed the two words into “trance-otic”. He liked the idea, but wanted this word to have his stamp of originality, so he came up with “Tranzotica”. Soon after this, Bobby registered that domain and created a simple website for the URL.
Bobby’s former audio/video production company was called Bobby Lane Productions, which had a nice website and enjoyed some moderate success, but a few years ago, he decided it was time for a new business name, a new website and a new start. He knew right away what he should call that new company: Tranzotica LLC was created and is now his new graphic design and audio production company.
